Community Care Day
More than 30 community members, including students, staff, and neighbors, worked together to spruce up the grounds of Ockley Green Middle School, including our basketball court. Thank you to all who lent their time and talents!
Ockley Green is very excited to invite you and your whole family to see what students are creating in their Social Science classes. Please join us to see their work at the 2nd annual OG Culture & Community Night, Wednesday, April 26, 2023, 5:30-8:00 PM, at Ockley Green.

Thank you for stopping by The Stacks Coffeehouse! They'll be donating $153.09 to Ockley Green Supporters, based on purchases made during our profit share day.
Proceeds from this fundraiser will support the OGMS 8th Grade Capstone Dance Team's culminating trip to Vegas. In Vegas, they'll participate in a workshop with the world famous Jabbawockees and also experience a live performance. If you'd like to contribute towards the cost of this exceptional opportunity, but dining out on the 28th won't fit into your schedule, click on the Direct Donation button below to make a donation via Square.
Update: The Tough Luck fundraiser brought in $373, with another $100 being donated via Square. Thank you for your support!
Thanks to everyone who ordered pizza during the event, Mississippi Pizza will be donating $350 in support of OGMS!
Annual Wreath Sale
This year's wreath & garland sale was a huge success! Thanks to community members and Realty Works Group (with an order of 185 wreaths), together we raised $4,169 in support of Ockley Green Middle School!
On December 1st, Tamale Boy donated donated 15% of all purchases on to OG Supporters.
Thanks to a great turnout from the community, Tamale Boy donated $472 in support of OGMS!

Project Community Care
Project Community Care is an opportunity for community members to create connections with their neighborhood school, while helping to beautify school grounds before students return for the 2022/23 school year.
RSVP is not required, but it would help organizers know how big they should be dreaming! The current wishlist includes:
Painting pre-primed trim work in 3 classrooms
General trash pick up on school grounds
Weed whacking along perimeter fence
Spreading mulch
If you're able to, please bring your own tools and gloves. (Weed whackers and pruners are especially needed.)

To all who participated in this event, whether by enjoying delicious food from ¿Por Qué No? or by making a direct donation, thank you! Together we raised nearly $800. All proceeds from this fundraiser help cover the mini-grants that OG Supporters offers to our school staff each year.
