Volunteering is as easy as 1-2-3!
(1) Complete PPS' *Steps to Becoming a Volunteer.
*If you are uncertain if you have an active/approved background check, email the school secretary. You can also view OGMS volunteer opportunities while you wait/complete the steps linked above.
(2) Receive PPS Background Check/Volunteer Approval (via email).
(3) Sign-Up for OGMS Volunteer Opportunities:
Be Aware: For all Volunteering at School or During Field Trips
For the safety of students and staff, all volunteers are required to submit a Volunteer Application and Background Check, after reviewing the PPS volunteer Code of Conduct and online training document here: https://www.pps.net/volunteer. We encourage you to complete this process as soon as possible, as the paperwork can take up to a few weeks to go through.
